We understand that the needs of business professionals vary considerably. We have created a program that is intensive, cost effective and efficient. The Business Student will spend the morning in the Standard Class refining general English skills. In the afternoon they will study a program designed to meet the language requirements of his or her profession in two one-on-one lessons with a tutor. Sample Business Tutorial Schedule Block Time Course Description A 2 lessons M-F 8:45 - 10:35 Conversation Focus on communicating ideas and facilitating the exchange of information. The teachers use articles, pictures, etc to provoke discussion. In this class, the teacher guides conversation rather than controls it. Coffee break 20 min   Here is a chance for free conversation with the teachers and other students in the school. Remember: English Only! B 2 lessons M-F 10:55 - 12:45 Focus on language Language work with a focus on grammar in context. How we use grammar to improve communication. This block is a more detailed exploration of Block A with a focus on accuracy. Lunch 60 min     C 1 lesson M-Th 1:45 - 2:55 Private business To be determined by the client in consultation with the Academic Director Material covered in the private lessons is designed to teach the language skills required by the client for their profession. Job specific text books and other relevant material will be used to provide opportunities to practice the target language. D 1 lesson M-Th 3:00 - 4.15 Private business To be determined by the client in consultation with the Academic Director Material covered in the private lessons is designed to teach the language skills required by the client for their profession.
